Who We Are

We Care is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the residents of Rhea County and the surrounding areas. For over 40 years, we’ve worked to provide support and resources for individuals and families who are struggling to achieve self-sufficiency. From emergency housing to financial assistance, and access to essential goods, our programs are designed to offer more than just a temporary solution. We are here to help people build better lives, restore their sense of dignity, and promote self-reliance, fostering a stronger, more resilient community.

How We Work

At We Care, we believe in offering a "hand up, not a handout." Our approach focuses on empowering individuals to help themselves by providing them with the tools, resources, and support they need to overcome challenges and achieve lasting success. Our services are made possible through donations from local organizations, families, and citizens of Rhea County, who all share our vision of building a thriving community. We work closely with each person, tailoring our assistance to their specific needs while encouraging personal responsibility and growth.

Why We Matter

We Care plays a vital role in the lives of thousands of Rhea County residents each year. Whether it's providing emergency housing for a family in crisis or offering financial assistance to keep the lights on, our work has a profound and lasting impact. In a world where many face uncertain futures, We Care stands as a beacon of hope and stability, ensuring that those in need are not alone in their struggles. By helping people regain control of their lives, we are contributing to a healthier, more compassionate, and more prosperous community for all.
