This past month has been full of excitement and forward momentum for We Care, and we’re thrilled to share some updates with you!

First off, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who made our recent Charity Golf Tournament a massive success! From the sponsors and players to the volunteers and staff who made it all possible—your support means the world to us. The turnout was fantastic, the weather held up beautifully, and the spirit of generosity was alive and well all day long. Together, we raised vital funds that go directly toward supporting local families in need. We’re already counting down the days to next year’s tournament—so mark your calendars and get ready to tee off for a great cause again in 2026!

As we look ahead, we’re reaching out to our community for help with a special project at Safe Haven Light, our shelter and transitional home for women and children. The bathroom facility is in urgent need of remodeling to better serve the residents who rely on this space for comfort and care during difficult transitions. If you’re looking for a tangible way to make a difference, this is it. Donations of any amount are deeply appreciated and will go directly toward this much-needed improvement. Let’s work together to give our neighbors a space that feels clean, safe, and dignified.

Lastly, we want to share a quick update from our Friendly Budget Market. To better serve our shoppers, the market has updated its hours:

Monday through Friday: 9 AM – 6 PM

Saturday: 9 AM – 4 PM
